On February 14–15, the annual Moscow Pre-Moot took place, organized by the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
This year, the Pre-Moot gathered teams from various countries, and the arbitrators repeatedly noted that the participants demonstrated a high level of advocacy skills and profound knowledge of law.
After two days of intense competition, the team from the Higher School of Economics (Moscow) emerged victorious, facing the representatives from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) in the final round.
The final round was arbitrated by:
— Anna Grishchenkova (Independent Arbitrator, Russia),
— Edmund Kronenburg (Managing Partner at Braddell Brothers, Singapore),
— Dimitrios Ioannidis (Partner at Roach, Ioannidis & Megaloudis, USA).
We extend our gratitude to all the arbitrators and volunteers for their invaluable contribution to conducting the online rounds and wish all the teams success in Vienna and Hong Kong!
See you at the rounds next year!
